Diclofenac Sodium tablets are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug which relieve pain and reduce inflammation ( swelling) . Diclofenac Sodium is used to treat headaches, muscle aches, dental pain, and athletic injuries. It is commonly used to treat the pain, swelling and stiffness associated with arthritis.

Diclofenac is taken to reduce inflammation and as an analgesic reducing pain in conditions such as arthritis or acute injury. It can also be used to reduce menstrual pain, dysmenorrhea. The name is derived from its chemical name: 2-( 2, 6-dichloranilino) phenylacetic acid.
