TH-8708 is design to measure and display environment Temperature and Relative Humidity simultaneously with some added features such as capacitance polymer sensor, push-button calibration, data hold, and min. & max. values for both temperature & humidity, auto power off ( sleep mode) with disable feature & pocket clip. Humidity measurement control is required for many industries such as heating and air conditioning, food processing / transportation and industrial processes. Hygro-Thermometer pen are commonly used to measure relative humidity and temperature in homes, offices, museums, production environments, and laboratories. Operating Information:
1. Press ON/ OFF button to turn the meter ON. Relative Humidity & Temperature readings will appear after 5sec.
2. Allow time for measurement readings to stabilize before moving the meter from one area to another.
3. To freeze the displayed reading, press HOLD button until " HLD" text appears on screen.
4. To return to normal operation, press and hold RESET button until the " HLD" text switches off.
5. Press ON/ OFF button to turn the meter OFF.
MIN / MAX Memory Recall
1. Press and hold MIN/ MAX button, once the " MIN" text appears on screen release the button. The meter will now diplay the lowest ( min. value) humidity & temperature measurements recorded.
2. To show the highest ( max. value) humidity & temperature measurements recorded, press and hold again MIN/ MAX button, release the button once the " MAX" text appears on screen.
3. Press MIN/ MAX button again to return to normal operation.
Setting Temperature units ( ° C or ° F)
1. Turn the meter meter OFF first by pressing the ON/ OFF button. Then turn it ON by pressing the ON/ OFF button again.
2. Press F/ C button, LCD will display currently set temperature default.
3. Press the MIN/ MAX key to select degrees ‘ C’ or ‘ F’ . The display will reflect the change.
4. Press the recessed F/ C button to save the new temperature setting. An ‘ S’ text will appear in the display.
5. The display will then show ‘ % MIN’ . Now, turn the meter OFF to complete the operation.
