Composition: The name cyphenothrin correctly applies to the ( RS, 1RS) -cis-trans- mixed isomers. The material used is however rich ( 95% ) in the ( 1R) - isomers, 75% trans-. Mol. wt.: 375.5; M.f.: C24H25NO3; Form: Viscous yellow liquid, with a faint characteristic odour ( tech.) . B.p.: 154 º C/ 0.1 mmHg. V.p.: 0.12 mPa ( 20 º C) ; 0.4 mPa ( 30 º C) . KOW: logP = 6.29; S.g./ density: 1.08 ( 25 º C) . Solubility: In water 5000 mg/ kg. Non-irritating to skin; minimal irritation to eyes.
Inhalation: LC50 ( 3 h) for rats > 1850 mg/ m3.
