The larger the ratio number the better the instrument' s resolution, and the smaller the spot size that can be measured from greater distance without including unwanted background temperatures.
Most organic, painted, or oxidized surfaces have emissivity values close to 0.95, this thermometer' s sensor have an emissivity preset to 0.95 and adjustable 0.10~ 1.00 emissivity feature to ensure accuracy when measuring other materials such as shiny metals without the need to cover the surface with spray oil, flat black paint or masking tape. In addition to features like backlight, laser dot/ guide, low battery indication, selectable ° C/ ° F, Max/ min/ AVG and difference temperature functions, it also have adjustable high/ low alarm and 12 memory storage function, scanned data can be deleted, restored and viewed anytime.
