MetalScan 1600 Series
The MetalScan 1650 is a revolutionary
portable metals analyser designed to
give rapid semi-quantitative analysis
and grade identification of metals on-
site. Its use of advanced CCD array
detector technology makes the 1650
MetalScan exremely flexible. The small
Spectrometer is mounted in the hand-
held probe, and enables the operator
to perform checks from distance of 30
meters away from the control unit.

The MetalScan 1650 can be supplied
as a single-base or a multiple-base
instrument, using the same hardware.
Extra bases can be added without any
hardware changes, making upgrades
easy and low-cost. Yet, thanks to tried-
and-tested technology, this portable,
compact and robust instrument is in a
nutsheel virtually is maintenance-free
and highly competitively priced too.
