The 1990’ s brought the introduction of
Digital Imaging Systems accompanied
with substantial technological advance-
ments made in the last decade. Digital
Imaging Systems provide many more
advantages including numerous image
enhancement features, wider dynamic
range, minimal cost per image, and is
able to performance better in extreme
temperatures.
CR systems replace the conventional
film with an imaging plate containing
photostimulable storage phosphors.
After exposing the imaging plate to X
rays the imaging plate is run through a
special laser scanner, or CR reader,
that reads and digitizes the image.
The image processing time ranges
from seconds to just under a minute
depending on the system. After the
image is processed, the imaging plate
is then erased by exposing it to light.

field deployable CR imaging system. It
has image plates which can be framed
to x-ray large objects in a single shot.
Our scanner relies on the contact free
scanning method to read image plates.
This helps to ensure that dust nor the
debris on the image plate surface will
not damage both the plate and scanner
during processing. The scanner outputs
16-bit grayscale images providing you
with a higher level of adjustment to be
able to easily correct Over and Under
exposures, eliminating the needs for
any re-shoot. Saving time & Expenses.
You may purchase just the portable CR
Imaging System for use with your own
exisitng X-ray Equipment or we can sell
you the CR Imaging System together
with a portable X-ray unit. Our image
plates can be erased and rescanned
up to 3000 times.
