The Flygt F-pumps range brings an end to troublesome and costly clogging with its heavy-duty and highly dependable chopping abilities. Flygt F-pumps have an open impeller in a volute. The impeller is S-shaped and is fitted with a cutter, to enable it to chop up straw and other long-fibrous material. This prevent clogging. The inlet part of the impeller is screw shaped, which enables the feeding ot manure when it is thickest and most difficult to move, into the pump. The cutting plate together with the impeller chop up long-fibrous material before it enters into pump. As waste fibres and other solids pass through the impeller, they are chopped 175 times per second into small pieces that are easy to pump.

Flygt F-pumps show considerably fewer running problems and considerably lower energy consumption.
