    These Machines are designed to be used in Quality control and research laboratories to determine the properties of tensile elongation, flexural, bending and resilience.
    In our range of universal testing machines, mainly there are five different ranges as follows.

    Fully Automatic Computerized servo controlled type.
    In this type the performance is fully Automatic servo controlled and controlled by user friendly software which allows speedy and easy management of all the machine parameters. Test curves can be observed and the test execution parameters as well during the tests are performed.

    Semi automatic computerized type
    Almost similar to the above but controls are manually driven

    Semi Automatic with Programmed LCD display type
    In this type a programmed controller with a LCD display is fitted to the machine and by this the test parameters are pre recordable and the test curve is visible and the data can be recorded in the internal memory up to 1000 specimens and recollect at any time and get print outs by the built in printer. Also via RS 232 port it can connected to a computer.

    Semi automatic with LED seven segment display.
    Similar to the LCD type but with a seven segment LED display and unable to observe the test curve.

    Manually controlled Analogue display type.
    The Analogue types are Quiet simple and in addition to the main part it consists of a pendulum dynamometer and a dial indicator and a Autographic continuous roll load elongation recorder.
    Universal Testing Machine is consists of Straining Unit, control panel and a power pack.
    Straining Unit
    Straining Unit is common for all five types and this consists of a hydraulic cylinder motor with chain and sprocket drive and a table coupled with the ram of the hydraulic cylinder, mounted on a robust base. The cylinder and the ram are individually lapped to eliminate the friction the upper cross head is rigidly fixed to the table by two straight columns. The lower cross head is connected to two screwed columns which are driven by a motor. Reliving the cylinder and ram of any possible sideloadings by the provicions of ball seatings ensures axial loading of the ram.
    Tension test is conducted by gripping the test specimen between the upper and lower cross heads. Compression transverse bending shear and hardness tests are conducted between the lower cross head and the table.
    The lower cross head can be raised or lowered rapidly by operating the screwed columns, thus facilitating ease of fixing of the test specimen.

    Control Panel and Power Pack
    Control Panel is mainly consists of a power pack complete with a drive motor and an oil tank and control valves. The computer-controlled types are involved with servo control valves moderms and a standard computer with on board machine control software to control the straining unit and a printer. Semi automatic types are in addition to the main features of the control panel, involved with electronic pressure sensor, manually operated control valves and a microprocessor based programmed controller and in that the test data can be stored.
