High coliform contamination can be detected beginning at four hours, with presumptive coliforms being recorded at 14 hours. Faster information means detecting process or contamination problems and being able to act on them to minimize the cost. The fast result is available with three easy steps:
1) Inoculate - 3Mâ„¢ Petrifilmâ„¢ Plates are easy to inoculate. Lift the top film and add sample
2) Incubate - The space saving design maximizes incubator space and
3) Enumerate - In as little as 4 hours, you can start to see distinctive yellow zones. Confirmed results are available at 24 hours.
