South China Shipyard, originally Chinese state-owned " Guangdong Xinhui Shipyard " established in 1958, was purchased by an experienced vessel developer in Hong Kong, South China Shipbuilding Holdings ( HK) Ltd, exclusively with its own investment in August, 2005. Having been transformed to a modern base of operations for building export ships, the shipyard is in the business of building ships, marine offshore facilities and relevant completed facilities. Occupying ~ 130, 000M2 land area and ~ 35, 000M2 building area with a ~ 400M long water front, South China Shipyard is situated in Huicheng district, XinHui, Guangdong Province, China and is adjacent to Hong Kong. South China Shipyard is capable of building and repairing different types of ships and has built and delivered hundreds of ships to client over the past years, including ocean tugs, ASD tugs, AHT, AHTS, utility boats, engineering ships, cargo deck ships, offshore support vessels, oil tankers, cargo ships, container ships, ferries and high-speed hovercrafts, etc.

" SCS Ship Design and Technical Support Platform " , is set up by South China Shipyard in Guangzhou, China, is responsible for synthesized technical support of ship designing, building workmanship and equipment completion.

Headquarter of the shipyard, which is set up in Hong Kong, is in the business of designing, building, sales, import and export trading of different types of ships, marine equipments and marine offshore facilities; ocean-going wet towage and chartering; participating of international tenders of new shipbuilding and operations. The overseas base in Singapore is responsible for managing the group harbour & ocean fleet.
