Sri Lanka Export Development Board( SLEDB commonly known as the EDB) is the premier state organisation dealing with the promotion and development of exports. It was established in 1979 under the Sri Lanka Export Development Act No of 1979 under the Export development Council of Ministers ( EDCM) is the policy making body of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board and is headed by H.E. the President of Sri Lanka
The Chaiman is the Chief Executive.
