• Quartz high-pressure mercury-discharge tube in series
with a tungsten filament which acts both as
incandescent light source and current-limiting device
• Combines high luminous flux and good colour
rendering
• Combines a continuous spectrum from the
incandescent source and a line spectrum from the highpressure
mercury source
• Non-dimmable
• Burning position base-up or base-down + / - 30º ( ML
100W and 160 W) ; universal permissible, but vertical
+ / - 45º recommended, especially if undervoltage
expected ( ML 250 W and 500 W)
