Qotom virtual PC solutions are based on a simple fact: today’ s PCs are so powerful that the vast majority of people use only a small fraction of their available Qotom capacity. The Qotom-M03 taps this unused capacity so that up to seven users can simultaneously share a single PC. Each user gets their own personal Qotom environment ( applications, settings, files and preferences) , but at a fraction of what it would cost to deploy individual computers. So even though seven people share a single system, they each get their own rich PC experience.

Easy to Install

Each Qotom-M03 kit contains a PCI card, virtualization software, and three access devices. Setup is easy. Just install the PCI card and virtualization software on the shared PC. Then connect the access devices to the PCI card with the supplied cables. Finally, connect each user’ s monitor, keyboard, and mouse to their access device. Now, four users can enjoy their own independent virtual desktops ( one on the shared PC and three on virtual PCs) . Add a second Qotom-M03 kit and seven users can simultaneously share a single PC.

Powerful and Flexible

The access devices themselves are small, silent, and have no moving parts. Yet they deliver a rich Windows or Linux PC experience. Users can enjoy multimedia with sound and full-motion video at screen resolutions of 800x600 and 1024x768. Software applications run simultaneously and independently on each virtual desktop so that users don’ t even know they are sharing a PC. Best of all, most software applications run right out of the box, so your staff and users won’ t need any special training.

Kit Contents

One Qotom-M03 Kit includes three ( 3) access devices, one PCI card, Terminal services software installation CD, and Quick Installation Guide.

l The number of users on individual host will depend upon the host system capabilities as well as the applications used and performance expectations for those applications. It is recommended that new customers test their application( s) before adding additional users.

l Does not support 3D games.

l Application software and OS licenses for the host PC may be required by the respective software vendor and must be purchased separately.
