Electrode Cigweld Cobalarc 9e Highly alloyed tubular electrode. Versatile, complex carbide iron deposit. Resistant to both coarse and fine abrasion and moderate to heavy impact loading. Complex chromium rich carbides in a single layer. Developed in Australia Description and Applications: Cobalarc 9 is the most versatile tubular hard surfacing electrode in the CIGWELD range. The complex chromium rich carbides in Cobalarc 9 make it highly resistant to both coarse and fine abrasion while retaining the toughness to withstand moderate to heavy impact. Typical applications of Cobalarc 9 include the hard surfacing of railway ballast tampers, dredge buckets and lips, earth moving equipment, power shovels, rolling mill guides, sizing screens, ripper teeth and crushing equipment.
