LOAHL in turn is fully owned by the government of Libya through the Libya Africa Investment Portfolio ( LAP) , a government agency set up in 2006 to spearhead a US$ 5 billion investment plan in Africa.
The LOAHL group has investments in over 22 African countries such as Sudan, Libya, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Mali, Ethiopia, Senegal, Cote d' Ivoire, Gabon, Cameroon, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Eritrea, Kenya, Uganda, Djibouti, Chad, , Niger, Mauritius and Reunion, where we continue to look for investment opportunities .
