BIRTH OF A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY ESTABLISHED IN 1947 Yung CHUNG JU, HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY ( HMC) NOW BEING DEVELOPED ONE WORLD ONE CAR MANUFACTURER OF ORIGIN ASIA AFTER THE LARGEST JAPANESE.

In Korean, the word " Hyundai " means ' Modern' or ' Times Now' . Or ' which is always updated and follow the development of the era' .

HYUNDAI menapakkan wheels in Indonesia through its brand sole agent, PT Citra National Car ( CMN) . The first Hyundai car was first launched in 1995 Elantra which is the first Korean cars sold in Indonesia the Hyundai assembly plant in West Jakarta. Since the beginning of Hyundai Indonesia already has a factory assembling a production capacity of 10, 000 units per year for a period of one shift of work.

One year later in 1996 Hyundai Accent Indonesia assemble and launch it in mid-year before Gaikindo Expo. To spread its wings Hyundai Indonesia then founded a company named PT Hyundai Mobil Indonesia, while the assembly is entrusted to PT Hyundai Indonesia Motor replaces the name of PT Citra National Car.

In 2001 an initial rise of Indonesia with the launch vehicle Hyundai City Car named Atoz. Now Hyundai comes with a large selection of models and variants of them are Grace, Grandeur, Coupe, Sonata, Getz, Matrix, Trajet, Santa Fe, Accent, Verna, Tucson, Avega, i10, i20.
