Globe Seaweed International , established in 2002 with the main objective to provide raw material for the world industries that they need seaweed for alginate, forage and fertilizers.
At the moment, we are the first Peruvian exporters brown seaweed for the international market, having as main destination to China.
We counted on extraction, production and elaboration products finished like material raw, for the industrial use in different fields and areas.
We are direct suppliers, our seaweed processing plant have total area of 15, 000 m2 , where they are carried out the processes of natural drying, selection, mill and classification , that which allows us to export raw material gives quality for use the industry.
Nowadays, these are the species of seaweed that we worker : Lessonia nigrescens, Lessonia trabeculata and Macrocystis integrifolia ( brown seaweed) with a monthly production around of 300 mt, acquiring the seaweed totally of the south coast of Peru that is characterized to possess cold marine waters, that which contributes to the quality the present alginate in the seaweed.
Now, we are developing the production of seaweed like organic fertilizer for agricultural use with the species Ulva, Porphyra, Enteromorpha, Grateloupia and others, and we are also developing to supplement the preparation food for fish and shrimps with Macrocystis integrifolia.
