Specification :
Crewel work bedspreads are made after joining together fabric widths - mostly 3, the middle one wider than the two on either side. Once a bedspread is stitched to proper size, it is then embroidered for suitable finish. Joining embroidered pieces of crewel fabric is not a proper way of manufacturing bedspreads. In our shop, you should find a matching crewel bedspread for the crewel curtains you have or are planning to buy. You can contact us to have one custom-made if it is not listed here.
Crewel work bedspreads are available in a range of embroidery designs and fabrics - cotton being the most common. Silk Organza and Velvet are also used for making crewel bedspreads.
Most cotton crewel bedspreads come without a lining. A light polyester lining is added to the bedspread whenever requested by a customer. We can add a zip on the back to allow the lined bedspread to be used as a duvet cover as well.
