Data Persada, which established in March 1981 is the private company in Surabaya to render services in Foundation Design and Construction, and solving various Soil Engineering problems.

To support design accuracy, Data Persada is equipped with a Soil Mechanics Laboratory and the corresponding in-situ Soil Testing Equipment, all is operated by highly skilled personnels. Several types of pile foundaton have been developed by us as a participation to the foundation business, such as: Bored Pile, Augered Pile as well as Driven Pile.

Since its establishment, Data Persada has participated in many governmental and private projects, by supplying reiable geotechnical data and by supporting the geotechnical consultancy.
Experts from Civil Engineering branches have joined, enabling Data Persada to serve in: Structural Design, Supervision and Construction Management.

To assure the accuracy and realbility of its investigation, Data Persada has improved the testing equipments as follows:
* The Standard Penetration Test use Automatic Tripped Hammer to prevent loss of Hammer Energy and also to keep hammer stroke constant
* To obtain prima undisturbed samples, thin walled stainless steel tubes are utilized. The fixed-piston sampling method sometimes applied to take soft sensitive soil samples.

We also have Laboratory Soil Mechanics that use good equipment to make sure the accuracy of the obtained result.
Some of our laboratory testing are:
* Triaxial Test; to determining soil strength in condition:
- UU : Unconsolidated Undrained
- CU : Consolidated Undrained
- CD : Consolidated Drained
* Consolidation Test; to investigate deformation properties of the soil for predicting the amount and rate of settlement
