One of Butterflyâ € ™ s metamorfosis period is cocoon.Bombyxmori L is one of those species, it breads by cultivating Mulberry plant for feeding.Bombyxmori L cocoons are used for material in producing silk yarn.

Cricula Trifenesfrata ( Gold Silk) and Attacus Atlas ( Brown Silk) are other species which produce high quality silk yarn as well.The breeding process are difficult than Bombyxmori L.
