Early founded in 1978 as a small trading establishment in EminÃ ¶ nÃ ¼ , the firm made a decision to pursue manufacturing as a company, ' Akal Trade and Textile Industry Limited Company' , in 1989. With its trademarks, the firm specializes in manufacturing of textile products like hats, caps, berets, scarves and gloves. The head office of Akal Textile, with a showroom exists in EminÃ ¶ nÃ ¼ Mercan, and its production center locates in Ã œ skÃ ¼ dar Ã ‡ engelkÃ ¶ y.
Akal Textile has been exporting its products directly or via representatives to foreign markets like England, Greece, Germany, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Yugoslavia, Romania, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Palestine, Russia, Sudan and the North Cyprus Turkish Republic.

With its modern designed and integrated production line, Akal Textile has a capacity to produce 100.000 berets, 50.000 scarves, 75.000 gloves and 120.000 hats per month; if necessary, its production capacity can be increased % 50 by adding the supplementary production plants.

Akal Textile, which serves its consumers at the world level standards without renunciation of its quality, has proven its success with both its trademarks and other products.
