SURGISPON® is a sterile absorbable gelatin sponge with haemostatic effect suitable for the control of bleeding.

SURGISPON® is manufactured from highly purified neutral gelatin foam of uniform porosity. The dried gelatine foam is tested according to USP, cut, packed and sterilised with gamma irradiation. The uniform porosity of the gelatin sponge guarantees a favourable haemostasis.
