Connect Psychology provides a fresh perspective to help you manage lifeâ € ™ s challenges. Darla is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta. She works with individuals, adolescents, couples and groups and is dedicated to offering you professional care in a safe, compassionate and confidential setting. She believes that her work requires a commitment to ongoing training to stay current with new psychological theory and practice. As a result, she has training and experience in a variety of treatments including solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, grief therapy, group therapy, clinical hypnosis and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing ( EMDR) therapy. Darlaâ € ™ s manner is warm, non-judgmental and affirming and she adapts the treatment approach to fit the individual needs of the clients. Issues that she commonly deals with are depression, grief and loss, anxiety and trauma, including childhood trauma. Darla believes that we all have the ability to grow, heal and connect with others in meaningful relationships. Darla is passionate about assisting people to achieve emotional health, vitality and rewarding relationships by connecting them with well-being. | ||
