Caraka Nusantara Academy of Analytical Chemistry ( CN-AAC) was established by the Caraka Nusantara Educational Foundation in 1992 for the purpose of educating a much-needed skilled workforce specifically for the middle manager level. In accordance with its initial concept, CN-AAC provides 6 semester courses for the Diploma III program. Graduates become skilled workers in the field of analytical chemistry and to cater to the demands of the labor market. CN-AAC is the only Private academy for chemical analyst in Jakarta. Chemical Analysis holds a very important role in increasing the competitiveness of products and also the basis for strengthening the small and medium scale industries. CN-AAC curriculum was specially developed in accordance to the National Competency Standard in the field of Analytic Chemistry and to fulfill the skills needed in the industry. The learning process is conducted at the CN-AAC Campus building which has 3 floors with a total area of 2, 700 m2 The facilities consist of classrooms, a library and laboratories ( chemical, physics, microbiology, small industry and computer) which fulfill the requirements for Chemical Analysis education and training. CN-AAC graduates are absorbed as work force in the chemical industry and chemical related industry such as polymer, petrochemical, textile, oil, food, beverage, pharmacy and cosmetic where the need for this specific knowledge and skill is in high demand. The graduates could also continue their studies in extension programs in Universities or College. Scholarships are given to exceptional students by both CN-AAC and Department of Education. CN-AAC foresees that there will be many other opportunities for the chemical industry which can and still need to be explored. The biggest challenge facing us is the need for financial resources whilst many of our students are from the middle and lower classes who, with limited funds, want to quickly graduate to immediately enter into the work market and the job offers awaiting them. Two important steps that CN-AAC can take are: 1. To continuously strive to improve the level of education by looking for opportunities to establish links with educational institutions both inside and outside of Indonesia. 2. To continuously strive to foster close working relationships with industry leaders who will absorb CN-AAC graduates in order that both the supplier and the end-user have compatible vision and objectives. | ||
