Application in Photoelectric Conversion
The development of solar cells is one of the effective ways to solve future energy crisis. Dye-sensitized solar cells ( DSSC) make possible large-scale application of solar PV technology. DSSC includes a nano-TiO2 membrane electrode, electrolyte and counter electrode. The nano-TiO2 membrane electrode is a key component of the DSSC for the absorption of photons and the formation of electrons. The performance of the TiO2 membrane electrode determines the overall performance of the DSSC.
