The structure of shipbuilding gantry crane has single and double girder types. Single girder type is more economic if bigger span and lift capacity is a necessary requirement. Its main composing system includes steel gantry structure, upper trolley, lower trolley, crane travel mechanism, maintenance crane, lubrication and electrical device. And rail clamp, wheel brake, anchors and load cell, wind speed and direction indicator, limit switches in each mechanism are used. Crane deviation adapting system may be used when span is larger.
