OUR GLOBAL AWARENSS AND COMMITMENT â It can not be denied that development and changes until the 20th century had brought abundant of benefits, both in economic and social life of the human being in this planet, including those who life in Asia-Pacific â means that we who live in Papua. However, those â positiveâ changes have brought together with bunches of sociological and ecological problems â gap between rich and poor is getting wider; significant decline of the quality of life and health; numbers of local people who have no more access to their life stocks are getting bigger; gender inequalities; biodiversity loss, weakening carrying capacity of the natural resources; and uncontrolled environmental degradation. If these conditions are allowed to happen continuously, it will bring serious threats to the future life, and it is not an exaggeration to say that avoidance of the rights to better life of the future generations will happened. | ||
