Specification

Sikasil AP is an all purpose, fast curing, non-slump, silicone which cures under the action of atmospheric moisture, forming a high strength elastomeric rubber seal.

WHERE TO USE
Sikasil AP is a versatile product, which can be used for a wide variety of sealing applications such as:

Sanitary sealing
Sealing joints around doors and window frames
General sealing and assembly
Standard glazing
Cold room panel sealing
Metal to metal joints

LIMITATIONS

Ambient temperatures must be between -30° C and 60° C during application. Not recommended for fish tanks. Not recommended for use on concrete, masonry or clay or any other substrates sensitive to acetic acid.

SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound, properly cured and free of all loose materials, grease, oils or other deleterious matter.

APPLICATION

Install the cartridge directly into a normal skeleton gun. Cut the nozzle according to the desired bead width and then cut the end of the cartridge before attaching the nozzle. Squeeze the trigger firmly to extrude the sealant through the nozzle.
