1. Property
During drilling, clay shale will swell and disperse when there is water, causing not only bad wall, even collapse, but also serious change of the rheological property of the mud which is difficult to be corrected. When the producing formation is reached it is required that the filtration fluid shall have good prohibiting performance to prevent the hydrated expansion and transmission o f the clay in pores to keep the intrinsic permeability of the producing formation. It’ s even more important for low permeable reservoir. Therefore, it’ s very important to develop strong prohibiting agents for drilling and completing fluids and to develop technology for drilling and completing fluids to improve drilling quality and protect the hydrocarbon reservoir.

3. Use
BJ-1 is a new kind of low-molecular weight polymer, strongly effective in reducing surface tension of aqueous phase and prohibiting the expansion of hydrated clay.
The usual dosage of BJ-1 is 0.50.5~ 1.0% , compatible with every kinds of water-base mud additives.

4. Storage and Package
In iron drum or plastic drum of sufficient strength, able to guard against moisture, water, heat.
