Description:
The Cup Pig is used for general cleaning of pipeline, which has strong trafficability and sealing property, operating in unilateral direction. Commonly, it carries out at least 2 rubber cups, and 4 at the most.
The minimum radius of curvature of pipeline bend is 1.5 times of the pipeline diameter.
The maximum deformation of straight pipe section is 20% of the internal diameter of pipeline.
The running distance of pig is determined by many factors, including transportation media of pipeline, roughness of inner wall of pipeline, structure of pig, number of rubber cups. The longest distance of pig running in crude oil pipeline is 800km.
