DESCRIPTION
The Gnopres Coagulator is a modular plant that combines all the necessary components for: clarification, softening, filtration, and disinfections in a compact system. Its versatile design makes it ideal for: Industrial or municipal, potable and service water treatment of well, surface, or reuse water supplies, Advanced treatment of wastewaters to reduce suspended solids, phosphorus, and other contaminants heavy metal.

The Gnopress Coagulator is a constant-rate treatment system consisting of a high-rate clarification unit, filters, and chemical feeders. Options can be added to this basic system.

COAGULATOR
The heart of the Gnopres Coagulator is the Coagulator treating unit and the most effective high-rate plate settler clarification unit.

Gnopres plants are designed to treat a wide variety of raw water. By efficiently removing turbidity, color, suspended solids, metals, TOC, taste and odor, the process insures that the water it produces is of the highest quality. Though the systems are very compact, they offer nevertheless comparable performances to systems built on a larger scale.

HOW IT WORKS?
The particular design pertaining to the coagulation, injection and maturation tanks and lamellar settling process, all contribute in providing a high performance and reliable water treatment system.

• pH adjustment (optional)
To meet high quality product water and operational effectiveness, precise adjustment of pH is one of the most critical process controls. This package equipped with highly accurate pH Controller system.

• Water coagulation
A coagulant is injected to the raw water upstream of the unit. The water then enters a rapid mix tank to destabilize colloidal matter.

• Flocculation
Moderate mixing accelerates the formation of polymer bridges between pin flocs, suspended solids. Larger and heavier flocs are formed, with or without polymer injection to the coagulated water.

• High-rate settling
Heavy flocs settle quickly in the tube settler area down to the thickening hopper. Clarified water is collected in a series of troughs. Filtration and disinfections can follow, if required. Tube settler itself made from high strength, low weight and UV resistance polycarbonate plastic or FRP assuring long economic live.

• Gnopress Pressure Filter (Optional)
Gnopress Pressure filter features a highly efficient backwash system. The injection of water or a combination of both water and air combined with uniquely designed nozzles for a perfectly clean filter media. The filtration bed can either consist of a single layer of sand or multiple layers of sand, anthracite or activated carbon. Filtration rates range from 15 to 30 m/h.

• Chemical Mixing
Coagulation-flocculation process depends on reliable mixing equipments, which generate velocity gradient of 750-s in coagulation process and 50-s in flocculation process to achieve perfect aggregation of suspended solids. According to the capacity, Gnopres use turbine mixer or vertical paddle mixer for chemical mixing.

Gnopres Coagulator 200 – 400 units are manufactured in our plant and delivered pre-assembled to the site, higher capacity might be assembled on site. For increased treatment capacity, these units can be installed in parallel.
The units are available in many configuration : the Coagulator process alone (clarifier and rapid filters) or other optional components
