The dismantling joint enables easy installation and dismantling of isolating valves, non return valves, flow metering equipment, pumps etc.
It compensates for axial displacement of the pipe during installation/dismantling.
Features:
1) Follower gland ring: Ductile Iron
2) Flanged Adaptor bodies: Ductil iron
3) F-piece pipe: Ductile iron
4) Bolts, Nuts and Washers Material: Carbon Steel Grade 4. 8 with Zinc Coating, Epoxy Coating or Dacromet Coating; Or Stainless Steel upon customers request.
5) Tie Rods: Carbon Steel Grade 4. 8 with Zinc Coating, Epoxy Coating or Dacromet Coating; Or Stainless Steel upon customers request.
6) Gaskets material: For water or Gas: NBR Grade A. For drinking water: EPDM rubber to BS2494: 1990 type W. For drinking water and sewage: SBR Grade F.
7) Body Coating: Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating inside and outside, or bitumen.
The Couplings are designed for gas and pipelines, As a wide tolerance system it will fit most standard pipe materials and therefore dramatically reduces the number of dedicated Couplings which need to be stocked for maintenance purposes, It is suitable for steel, GRP, PVC, PE, Ductile Iron, Cast Iron and Asbestors Cement. When connecting PE pipes, It is important that pipe inserts are fitted to the PE pipes.
1)All the couplings are assembled by " D " bolts. 2", 2 1/2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 7" & 8" have four bolt holes. 10" & 12" have six bolt. Holes, 14" & 16" have eight bolt holes, 18", 20" & 24" are with ten bolt holes.
2)Bolts, Nuts and Washers are in carbon steel Grade 4. 8 with zinc plated, dacromet or according to customer's request.
3)Body material is GGG500-7.
4)Fusion bonded epoxy powder coating in blue, black or red or according to customer's request.
5)Gaskets material: E. P. D. M., NBR or SBR.
