Æ Natural Lycopene

As a kind of ordinary component in routine diet, lycopene is mainly present in red fruits
and vegetables. Because of the same biosynthesis route as that of natural lycopene,
Lycopene obtained from a new source fungi--Blakeslea trispora is comparable with that
existing in fruits and vegetables, which has the same chemical properties, nutritional
function and high biological absorbance. The safety of lutein obtained from B. trispora is
evaluated and approved by JECFA, and its ADI is considered to be 0-0.5mg/kg bw.

Lycopene is one of thr strongest antioxidants, which benefits for prostate diseases, and
can be used in various foods or as dietary supplement alone. We has successfully
prepared the following formulations with the purified Lycopene at above 96%.
Natural Lycopene 10% TAB, soluble in warm water, good stability, suitable for tablets and
capsules.
Natural Lycopene Beadlet 10% CWS/B, soluble in cold water, used for water-based food.
Natural Lycopene Oil Suspension 20%, used for fat food.
