Dear sir Suzhou Shengzhu Household Textiles Co., Ltd., a textile enterprise that incorporates production and commerce, is dealing with R & D as well as production of natural bamboo fiber and the related products such as yarns, fabrics, garments and beddings, etc.. Establishment of the company is owing to the nation ¡  ¯ s bamboo resource policy. China possesses the most abundant bamboo resource in the world; therefore, appropriate utilizing of the bamboo resource can satisfy the demand on natural fibers. Development of bamboo fiber finds a novel approach to making rational use of bamboo resource and in addition, it realizes partly the idea of  ¡  ° replacing cotton with bamboo ¡  ± . In view of this fact, in 2000, Suzhou Lifei Textiles Co., Ltd. cooperated with College of Textiles, Donghua University in developing natural bamboo fiber and succeeded finally by years ¡  ¯ efforts. To strengthen the industry of natural bamboo fiber, Suzhou Lifei Textiles Co., Ltd. invested and registered the Suzhou Shengzhu Household Textiles Co., Ltd. in 2006 for producing and dealing with series of products of natural bamboo fiber ( original bamboo fiber) specially. Taking the vast domestic bamboo resource into consideration and relying on the powerful technical support from College of Textiles, Donghua University and the advanced management concepts of our company, we never stop our steps in pursuing of innovation. The following are series of products successfully developed by us: pure spinning yarns of natural bamboo fiber, natural bamboo fiber blended spinning yarns of, natural bamboo fiber fabrics, natural bamboo fiber garment, natural bamboo fiber towels, natural bamboo fiber socks, natural bamboo fiber beddings, etc. Firmly implementing the marketing concepts of promoting the natural bamboo fiber products world widely, persistently fostering  ¡  ° Shengzhu ¡  ± branded series products of natural bamboo fiber to make it become a golden brand at home and abroad, steadily pushing on the development of natural bamboo fiber industry to make it sustainable, stable and healthy. Structural form of natural bamboo fiber It can be observed by the scanning electron microscope that there exist cross markings along the longitudinal direction of natural bamboo fiber. Thickness of the fiber is quite uneven. Besides, there are lots of minute beards on the surface of the fiber. For the case of crosswise transverse, the cross section is similar to that of ramie fiber with its shape being ellipse or waist shaped. And there is a lumen in the cross section. On the surface and edge of the cross section are abundant gaps and cracks, respectively. These gaps, beards and cracks of the natural bamboo fiber are like capillary vessels and can absorb and evaporate water instantly. It is for this reason this fiber is reputed as  ¡  ° fiber capable of breathing ¡  ± . Textile products related to natural bamboo fiber are characterized by strong hygroscopicity, fine air permeability and cool handle. The above test among natural bamboo fiber, flax fiber, ramie fiber and cotton fiber in accordance with AATCC6538 indicates that natural bamboo fiber, flax fiber and ramie fiber are all antibacterial and this property is unparalleled to any chemical additives. Natural bamboo fiber differs greatly from any manmade bacterial fiber in terms of the characteristics such as natural, environmental - protection, sustainable and hygienical, etc.. Moreover, antibacterial spectrum effect can be found in the testing result. Ultraviolet radiation resistant function of natural bamboo fiber Transmittance of ultraviolet radiation depends on many factors including weave and structure, coefficient of coverage, color, chemical additives and the processing methods, etc.. In the following test, the grey cloth sample of natural bamboo fiber and that of ramie fiber are of the same specification. Several points are selected on both fabrics to test the transmittance of ultraviolet radiation on wave bands ranging from 280nm to 400nm.
