It is used to print high density prints on tshirts. It is printed through specially developed chromoline screen.
High-density prints achieve a 3-D effect using a combination of thick printing screens and high viscosity inks. High-density prints will have a relatively smooth surface and sharp, crisp edges.
This type of printing requires the use of substantially thicker stencils than standard applications. For high-density printing, you'll need a coating thickness between 100 and 700 microns. Commercially prepared high-density films are currently available in thicknesses ranging from 100 to 1,000 microns.
To maintain edge definition, high-density inks must be of higher viscosity than most off-the-shelf inks. However, they must also possess rheologic characteristics that allow them to release from the mesh cleanly and easily.
