The Founder. Supoyo, Slamet born in Solo-Jawa Tengah in July 30th, 1924 and a graduate of Airlangga University, was privileged and soft-spoken. His interest in financial, investments, tax, and banking eventually led him to accounting. He moved to Jawa Timur, settled in Surabaya and, in 1942, founded a professional service company called Dai Asia. In 1962 the company was registered as a Registered Public Accountant Office ( KAP) , one among the very few and first leading Registered Public Accountant Offices in Surabaya. Its services were widened to management services on early 1969 by founding the second company, Supoyo Consultants.
