Switching adapters with built-in water cooling are used in engine measurement for low-pressure indication in cylinders and in the gas exchange channels.

Two models are available: the two-way switching adapter for switching of the atmospheric pressure to the intake and outlet channels (Type 737) and the automatic switching adapter for low-pressure indication in cylinders of slow speed engines (Type 741A)
