Protein A Sepharose CL-4B is recombinant protein A immobilized to activated Sepharose CL-4B.
It can be used to seprate and purify antibodies and recombinant proteins which contain the Fc region of antibodies from many mammal inhomogeneity or subclass from the ascites, serum and cell culture media or cell extract. The recombinant Protein A used in this product is expressed in E.coli, and purified by chromatography, with purity more than 95%. The purification condition is very mild, having little effect on the protein activity; it obviates the affinity chromatography of the antibody column, avoiding the possibility of unrelated IgG entering into the product. The purified protein A maintains extreme high antibody binding ability.
