Comprising 14 models, the new 440P series includes a two-meter pre-terminated side- or bottom-entry cable, and a compact 22mm metal housing.
The new safety limit switch series also offers a choice of operator configurations, such as dome, roller or cross-roller plunger, and short-roller lever.
Each member of the 440P safety limit switch series is equipped with positively driven contacts, making them ideal for both safety and standard switching applications, says Rockwell Automation.
According to Rockwell Automation safety area manager, Gary Milburn, the new 440P safety limit switches are extremely versatile â both functionally and from an installation perspective.
â When ganged together to provide two â normally closedâ circuits, or used in conjunction with a safety PLC, the new 440P series can accommodate safety applications up to SIL3 and Cat4, â .
â Alternatively, the switches can be used in isolation for standard switching applications.â
