Europa Environmental offer a unique Al-In-Sb (Indium Aluminium Antimonide) Semiconductor
Technology which provides unequalled accuracy, precision and specificity in a tiny package.
The LED and Photodiode pair are mounted on an adjustable bridge PCB over a concave mirrored
reflector. The resultant high efficiency optical path transfers the emitted narrow band light at 4.26¼m
from the LED through the gas using the optical path to the Photodiode. The inherently stable characteristics
of this semiconductor sensor and a high speed digital pulse ensures reliable performance
and exclusion of ambient light effects. The sensor is supplied with driver electronics on a small PCB
measuring only 40mm x 25mm. The sensors can be supplied with a range of optical path lengths to
suit customer specific range and tolerance requirements to suit the customer’s specification.
