Product Description
Aluminum stranded conductors have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels. Because they have the advantages as high mechanical strength, good conductivity, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, large transmission capacity and are also suitable for laying across rivers and valleys where special geographical features exist.
Specific property for using
1) . The permissible long-time operating temperature for aerial conductor is 70oC.
2) . Under the circumstance that rare climate is occurring and ice coverage rate low in heavy ice area, the biggest stress of cable at the lowest point of the sag should not exceed 60% of the short-time destructive power.
3) . When connecting conductors, the conductor beside the connecting tube canâ t be prominent. Otherwise, the force on the operating conductors will be unbalanced. After connectors are installed, the connecting tube should be painted by moisture-proof varnish in order to protect it from corrosion.
4) . Under installation, the arc downing stress of all the conductors should be the same. With in the permissible distance of crossing buildings or dropping to the ground, the stress can be 10-15% higher than regular stress.
Standard
The standard of the product is identical and consulted to IEC 61089 â Circular Central Stranded Overhead Cableâ and the content of Appendix 1, laid down Chinese National Standard GB 1179" Circular Central Stranded Overhead Cable" .
Material Standard
( 1) .The hard aluminum conductor used for AAC and ACSR conforms to the standard GB/ T 17048-1997( equivalent to IEC 60889: 1987) .
( 2) .The zinc coated steel wire used for ACSR conforms to IEC 60888: 1987.
( 3) .Production can be arranged according to customersâ requirements for material standard, etc.
Applications
To be used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. ACSR offers optimal strength for line design. Variable steel core stranding enables desired strength to be achieved without sacrificing ampacity.
Model:
All Aluminum Conductor ( AAC)
Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced ( ACSR)
All Aluminum Alloy Conductor ( AAAC)
AAC cable ( All Aluminum Conductors) :
1) . Standard: IEC61089, BS215 part1, DIN48201 part5, ASTM B231, BS EN50182
2) . Specification: AAC cable is composed by bare concentric-lay-stranded aluminum wires with a straight round central aluminum wire surrounded by one or more layers of helically layed aluminum wires.
3) . Application:
AAC cable is used in overhead electric power transmission and distribution lines with various grade voltages. Under the same weight, AAC is with higher DC resistance and lower cost than Copper conductor. We can also manufacture AAC cable according to customerâ s special requirements.
4) . Structure and Dimension
All aluminum conductor is in accordance with BS215-1-70 ( AAC)
