An electrical receptacle is connected with a plug of an electrical product for transferring electricity. Electrical receptacles have been used for years in homes, offices and industrial locations to deliver electricity to various equipment and appliances. Electrical receptacles for enabling ready connection to electrical power provide an enormous convenience for utilizing electrical appliances, and lighting apparatus. Virtually every house is equipped with sockets, outlets or receptacles supplying electrical power. Electrical power is generally considered a necessity and, thus, virtually no modern home is ever designed without access to electrical power. Electrical receptacles typically include a plurality of female plugs having blade receiving sockets which receive corresponding blades of a male plug connected with an electrical load, such as a light fixture, computer, appliance, etc. Each blade receiving socket of each female plug is connected with at least one exposed terminal on the sides and/or back of the electrical receptacle. The receptacle contains a plurality of apertures, each of which access one conductor strand of the conductor wire. Each conductor wire is fastened to some type of coupling connector that is held within the receptacle at each aperture. In order to interconnect electrical components, the pin terminal-receptacle terminal interface has been widely accepted in industry. The pin terminals are elongate members having a suitable cross-section, for example circular, rectangular, or square, for electrical engagement by a receptacle terminal. Extension cords are used to lengthen the cord of an electrical device so that it can reach a remote power supply or receptacle. One end of the extension cord has a female socket that is sized to engage with a plug located on the cord of the electrical device while the other end of the extension cord is formed with a plug which is adapted to engage with a socket located at the power supply. Typically, receptacles have two pairs of screws attached to the sides of the receptacle. One pair is used to connect the "hot" leg and the other pair connects the neutral wire. The two pairs of screws allow receptacles to be daisy-chained together. In this way, many receptacles can be connected to one circuit.
