Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) is a naturally occuring agent found in cayenne peppers. It is Safe, Effective, and relatively Inexpensive. OC is an inflammatory agent and causes an almost immediate swelling of the mucous membranes and breathing passages. Additionally, there is an intense burning sensation to eyes and skin, intense pain and involuntary eye closure and throat(coughing).
