Oecusse, located on the north coast of NTT Province in East Indonesia is prime Bali cattle grazing and fattening land. Male cattle weighing 250 to 300kg can be fattened to meet the Indonesian quality and demand. At US$1.25 or 10000rp per kilogram live weight (at the Oecusse Port) this is a bargain for Indonesian meat traders.
Other products in the near future will include frozen half carcasses (65-80kg) priced at US$2.20 or 18000rp per kilo.
Dried (solar dried in clean conditions or dehydrated) and frozen fresh spices, tamarind (asam), vegetables, fruit, maize, and peanuts products available.
