MI has existed since 1992 with the name of the Institute
Education and Development of Islamic Banking ( LPPBS) .
Establishment Muamalat Institute is in order:
Improve the economic life of the community, especially people
Islam in Indonesia through the establishment of institutions based on Islamic principles. Foster and promote the Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia so it can be one of the cornerstone of the nation' s economy. Print professional-quality personnel who master the principles of Islamic economics so as to better participate in the economic development of Indonesia.
Develop, promote and provide education about the Islamic economic system to the Indonesian people, especially Muslims.
