The pen can be examined immediately without you ever touching it. The method used is different from any out there and is a NEW concept. It cannot be done from behind a wall. I have done the effect in broad daylight, and in a lit living room. It depends on your preparation and if you use the item that I do ( Which comes with the DVD) .
