A. Brief Introduction
This group of models is newly developed under the effort of our technicians and our workers. It has 6 sub – model, which are all in the shape of prenatal cervic. It is made of PVC, and manufactured by molding. The life like structure and goodquality can provide the tranees a good training of vaginal inspection and observation of the variation o prenatal cervix. It’ s a good training model gynecology.

1. The models are suitable for the training in medical college, nursing school and clinic training institute.

C. Function and Guideline
1. The group of models has six part. Vaginal speculum can be used in the observation of the variation of prenatal cervix and birth canal. Inspection of the variation of pre-delivery can also be performed in the models. The inspector should wear sterile gloves before operation, meanwhile, inspetor should use French chalk to lubricate the finger in the glove as well as Lubricate the vaginal speculum and the surface of the model
2. There are six phases in the course of prenatal cervix variation.
Phase 1 :
The orifice of cervix has no expanding, and the cervical tunnels haven’ t disappearedat all. The positional relation between the head of fetus and the square of ischial spine is – 5
Phase 2 :
The orifice of cervix has expanded 2 cm bigger, and the cervical tunnelsdisappear 50% . The positional relation between the head of fetus and the square of ischial spine is -4
Phase 3 :
The orifice of cervix has expanded 4 cm bigger, and the cervical tunnelsdisappear 50% . The positional relation between the head of fetus and the square of ischial spine is -3
Phase 4 :
The orifice of cervix has expanded 5 cm bigger, and the cervical tunnelsdisappear 50% . The positional relation between the head of fetus and the square of ischial spine is 0
Phase 5 :
The orifice of cervix has expanded 7 cm bigger, and the cervical tunnelsdisappear 50% . The positional relation between the head of fetus and the square of ischial spine is + 2
Phase 6 :
The orifice of cervix has expanded 10 cm bigger, and the cervical tunnelsdisappear 50% . The positional relation between the head of fetus and the square of ischial spine is + 5
