Average service life of our passenger car is 6 ~ 7 years. If we assume that repair coating is carried out on damaged films due to traffic accident or other factors, at least once during this service life, the quantity of automobile refinish paints to be consumed is expected to rapidly increase along with increase in number of cars. Today, demands of automobile refinish paints are increased rapidly, to match that of paints for new automobiles in terms of quantity. As the coating for new automobile is more upgraded in terms of quality, refinish paints begin to have quality and workability equivalent to those of paints for new automobiles.
