This tool is imaging an object / objects in 3 dimensions.
" 3D" system using ONE SENSOR at the end of the robot, which moves in space ( 3 axis, so that in three dimensions) . This sensor to obtain the results, and sending near real-time information to the INTERFACE ELECTRONIC ( control interface) , which manipulate and control signals.
These signals, using the SOFTWARE package, specific to each particular application, will be handled by computers ( PCs) , so the results can be viewed on a computer screen in THREE DIMENSIONS, as happens in the real world
