Application: Buprofezin is a selective insecticide with insect growth regulating activity, it can be effectively used on paddy rice, vegetables, soybean, fruits, tea and flowers or ornamental plants for control of Hemiptera such as plant hoppers, whiteflies and scales.

Action: persistent insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action; not translocated in the plant. Inhibits molting of nymphs and larvae, leading to death. Also suppresses oviposition by adults; treated insects lay sterile eggs.
